A Romantic Sport (Couples Playing Nice)

A simple, yet romantic date I ever had was playing around with your date.
Sports can somehow help you learn about the person you are playing with. You get to know how they think and how they move (or challenge the guys if they are gentleman enough to let the ladies win). It does not necessarily have to be one of those rough sports like basketball or football or volleyball or any other sport that requires a lot of skills.
One game I can actually recommend is the CORN TOSS. Basically, it's throwing a bag of corn through a hole with a few obstacles in the way. It may sound boring, but it really is fun. (and I kinda like it since it doesn't require me to sweat at all unlike basketball. Great for ladies!!!)
If you are interested a great place you can go is Corn-toss USA located in Oxmoor Mall (Sears Wing). It's a nine hole cornhole course! It's like miniature golf with bean bags with each hole having an obstacle to the throw. It's worth a try
After the game, you can head out for a local sports bar and talk how great the game went.
For more information about corn toss you can visit their website, www.Corn-tossusa.com or find us on Facebook by searching,"cornhole course".

Sweet Romantic View of Louisville

Enjoy the view of the Louisville skyline...

Since it's summer, it's a great time to cool down the heat with ice cream. This romantic date is really budget friendly. Where else can you enjoy ice cream and an amazing view the skyline of Louisville but from the Indiana side of the Ohio River. A great romantic place where you can enjoy the view of Louisville is Widow's Walk Ice Cream Parlor. It's a great place in Jeffersonville, Indiana for Ice Cream and for a stroll on the Ohio River. It has a great location and the owners are super nice people. The price for the desserts were fair and you have an amazing view.

Widow's Walk Ice Cream Parlor is located at 415 E Riverside Dr, Jeffersonville, IN 47130-3163 (Tel: (812) 280-7564)

Romantic Date Walk in WaterFront Park

Warm Summer Romantic Love is in the Air at the WaterFront Park in Louisville. The WaterFront is a great place for a romantic stroll or romantic walks and romantic picnics. Located along the Ohio River, it offers a grand view of the river, quiet places to read a book, and of course picnic spaces perfect for a romantic picnic date.

There are several things you can do to make this romantic: Take walks along the Promenade (or you can also rent bicycles in the park for a minimal fee) and enjoy the views of the river. There are a lot of walking paths to take so lots of time for great romantic conversations. If you're tired of walking, no problem, take a seat on one of the many seats in the Swing Garden, enjoy the sun, share funny jokes with each other or maybe read a book to each other (so sweet ;-)) lol...

No planning or too much packing needed for this date. Go for a romantic picnic date at the park/lake near your place.. Enjoy your summer romance!

Romantic Dinner Date in RIVUE at the Galthouse in Louisville, Kentucky

Looking for a fancy restaurant in Louisville just to have some time alone? RIVUE Restaurant at the Galthouse is on my list as the most romantic place in Louisville. This restaurant has a very romantic atmosphere and as received a lot of great reviews.
This restaurant is definitely unlike anything you've seen before. Set on the 25th floor of the Galthouse, it is an upscale rooftop revolving restaurant and lounge. It features breathtaking panoramic views of Louisville and the river. Personally, I fell in love with the beautiful views of the city lights at night and I really enjoyed it. This is a really great place for a nice romantic dinner date. There's also a live piano player which added a nice touch to the romantic atmosphere. The decor is contemporary modern which added an elegant yet simple background to the view.

There is a wide variety of food and wine choices but it may be a bit pricy for some people(around $30-$60 per person). So, if you want to save yourself the money and get a great experience, go to the Galthouse take the elevator to the top of the hotel, try going to RIVUE especially if you're looking for a romantic place or romantic setting and maybe just have some dessert and drinks while you're up there enjoying a 360° view of the city of Louisville.

For more information, reviews or to make a reservation of this romantic restaurant, you can visit their website at www.RIVUE.com.
